English Language Fellow, Mary Baldridge, conducted a training on using brain-based strategies to teach English at Tbilisi State University on Saturday, November 30th. This training was the 2nd workshop in a two-part series on brain-based strategies. Training participants learned about the importance of essential questions, learning goals, transfer goals, and authentic assessments when planning lessons. Strategies for manipulating content to ensure understanding and storage in long-term memory were emphasized.
