ETAG, together with British Council and USA Embassy, has developed four 40-hour Teacher training courses. They are: Modern English Language Teaching (MELT), Developing Writing Skills (DWS), Language Development for English Language Teachers (LDELT), More Learning Less Teaching (MLLT). over 500 teachers have been trained. Currently 2 more training courses: Business English and TKT (Cambridge) preparation course are being designed. Training course are offered to our members in the regions too.
The Project is a part of ETAG overall development project: ETAG in 2005

To provide all ETAG members with opportunities for regular professional development
Specific Objectives:
- to build up a bank of in-service courses for delivery to ETAG members
- to ensure that at least one new in-service training course is available free of charge to ETAG members every year
- to recruit and train teams of trainers to deliver these courses
